A eulogy to Strunk and White

They came into my possession as a by product of trolling for books to sell online. I picked a copy of AGNI (the Boston University Literary Magazine)and a couple copies of The New England Review from, of all places, the Brookfield Municipal Transfer Station. (The collection of guys that run the place are a topic for another day -- lets say that there is nothing so refreshing as true Yankee red-necks.)
Either I am growing both culturally and literally illiterate, as well as impatient at 35 or most of it so intentionally obfuscates that it is irredeemably obtuse. (Yea-gads, I've been infected)
Perhaps I just lack self control. I required three revisions of the above non-parenthetical sentance not to use the terms "drivel" and "crap".
Fortunately for me Word does know how to spell obfuscate, because I could not.
